On the Bill Press show this morning, a guest said that 70% of Republicans support a path for DACA. Assume this is true, why wouldn’t DACA be a slam dunk? Because conservatives don’t really care about DACA and have no interest in getting this passed. And the conservatives in government know this. These Good Germans don’t care about anything except God, Gays, Guns, fetuses and no taxes (pick and mix whatever assortment they want). This is why conservatism is a bankrupt philosophy. They are the white-washed tombs referenced by jeebus in that great work of historical fiction called The Bible to which most of them ascribe.
