And just saying, “Fuck it, let it all burn.The GOP wants to destroy the US, let their voters live with what a Venezuelan-style meltdown really does.”

We’ve put our house on the market. We are moving out of the U.S, because the lights are all into the red zone, alarm horns are going off, etc. After the election, it is going to be 2008 all over again.

Only worse.

But the rest of us will suffer too. Remember: A plurality voted for Hillary; we still have a chance to recover from this.

Where are you relocating that will really be safe? Right now, too much of the planet is infected with toxic nationalism. One could argue that in the 1930’s too many people refused to recognize the signs and failed to save themselves because they stayed too long in Europe. I don’t think that we have reached that point yet but maybe I’m just deluding myself. But it’s not clear that any country is now safe from this poison.
