Ah, erm NOPE. Canada is scheduled for a federal election between now and October 21, 2019. And Andrew Scheer, a completely right-wing nutjob who is anti-abortion, stands a very good chance of being the next Prime Minister of Canada. No, Canada is not sane.

Scheer is doing that well?! Last I remember he was kinda treated as an afterthought, taken seriously only for how virulent and abhorrent he was.
