Impeachment is a process, similar to a trial. There must be a ‘trial’ in the House with evidence heard, then a vote. A simple majority of the House will mean President Cartman would be impeached. Then it goes to the Senate, which can do the same process. The Senate would vote for the punishment which is the removal from office.

Would you take an impeachment vote to the floor if you couldn’t guarantee enough Democrats?
