That was an unwise thing to say. It’s going to be taken as bashing Catholicism and it’ll be used to portray her as hostile to religion.

If a significant share of her electorate are Catholic, I’d make sure that I got those words in front of them posthaste. The resultant begative publicity would trim her sails, I think.
