Very confused here.I support the Tea Party premise of PEACEABLE protest regarding tax policies, etc.
I despise the co-opting by Stormfront, Ron Paul and others of this movement wholeheartedly.
To me, there is a parallel between this and the Vlaams Belang situation. I applaud the justifiable outrage expressed here at this site, and basically understand why.
I’m quite perplexed that what I see is ridicule of the Tea Party instead of the same exposure of their co-opters that was shown so well in the former.
Am I missing something here? I’m serious with the question, not merely stirring water.

That’s one of the right’s big problems. Most people on the right work, have families, and responsibilities — the passion for politics is there, but they aren’t going to show up for demonstrations like the left does. So the ones who are overly passionate about single issues are the ones you get, and as long as the right lets the loud and loony rabble be their face they are going to keep losing elections.
