seriously though i gotta wonder sometimes how many people truly “believe” this stuff.

i think a lot of it is just words strung together to create the appearance of a coherent argument

and then the argument is just pulled out and used with no real context or care whether its true false relevant or really, anything.

its not even lets throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what sticks.

Tribal politics 101. Movement conservatives in the US believe that they and everything they do is good, and that liberals and everything liberals do is evil. Once that attitude is fully adopted, debates, arguments to rationally justify public policy positions, political compromise, etc. all become completely irrelevant and are totally opposed.
