Currently, the graphic novels I’m taken with aren’t really brand new, but I’m digging them: The Fountain graphic novel by Darren Aranofsky and Kent Williams, and the Nocturnals books. Great watercolors!

“The Pro” features a single mom working two jobs—hooker and Denny’s clerk—when she develops superpowers. She’s not exactly the woman the local league of superheros was looking for, but she’s what they’ve got.

Very good short piece.
