Certain professions not related to law enforcement necessitate it. Body guards and diamond transporters come to mind.

I’ve no interest in denying them their second amendment rights, nor in denying them their right to over-pay for shitty coffee.

Sure, there are lots of jobs where you might be required to carry. I’m just trying to think of why a sane civilian would think to himself, “I’m going to Starbucks, better lock and load!”
