Plain’s remarks are just another part of the Republican continuum: long on criticism and short on alternative solutions. Their detailed jobs plan, health care plan, and balanced budgets are all in the Vaporware Hall of Fame.

To be fair, they pretty much admitted at the start of last year that they had no alternative to the ACA and, more to the point, don’t intend to ever offer one. Like much of their leadership, they want to do it by crisis, i.e. make the situation so horrible that their proposals look tame by comparison.
