The entire issue will only backfire: it will demonstrate that they are an obstructionist party that wants to turn back all the progress we have made over the past 50 years in personal freedoms, women’s, LGBT & minority rights, not to mention work safety and environmental legislation.

And increase Democratic turnout. It really amuses me how foolish they’re being on this but I guess it’s like immigration, they know their time is running out so they’re like fuck it.
