A cop friend of mine here in TN flat out told me that if you are going to Bonaroo and are driving a car with Colorado plates, you will get stopped and searched.

There is a fair chance of that here in Nebraska too, particularly in the counties that border Colorado.

When cannabis was legalised in Colorado, there was noise in the Unicameral to close off all the agricultural roads crossing the state line and only allow the eleven paved ones to remain open (to better patrol the border). They also advanced the idea of using volunteer militias to patrol, since all our counties here on the state line are very rural with few people.

Fortunately, the Democrats and a number of Republican legislatures thought that was too wingnutty.
