Of course, because that’s how he’s run things for years. Trump is the kinda guy who nobody has ever said “No” to, he was raised as a child of privilege from the moment he was born. Every time he’s fucked up, somebody else has been forced to take the fall in his stead. His daddy’s accountants have papered over his financial fuck-ups so he always comes out on top. He is used to giving a decree and his underlings making it a reality.

Which is why he has absolutely no plan for how to work with Congress, even one that is in Republican hands. He’s trying to assert dominance over them and that’s only going to go so far. After all, he’s gone in 4-8 years, while guys like Ryan will be there for long after. He’s fucking with their meal tickets and that’s not gonna fly for very long.
