Good for you. I can fool Canadians for a few words but I don’t have the guts to try to pass off my British accent on Londoners yet. I’m not sure I’ll ever be ready for that.

Our teacher-chaperone on our trip to London had this verbatim exchange with the cockney ticket-taker on a city bus:

“…and what number bus do we take to get there?”
” Ite.”
“…pardon me?”
“Ite.”
“…???…”
“As in, between seven and nine.”
