A hefty tax increase, and yet so much de regulation and increase in corporate power during his years. Anyone recall the Arthur Anderson scandal? So little was done, and I think that really proves my point. On balance, he rolled over for corporal influence.

It’s, to be charitable, an example of when a Democratic president took money from Wall Street and was less than fully progressive in his agenda.

This somehow proves the statement that “you can’t be a progressive and take millions from Wall Street”?
