As well as reading Post #417 , I’ll talk to my Japanese friends (somehow, their grandparents are still alive, unlike the “equally” oppressed grandparents of some of my Jewish friends) and ask them where they’d rather their ancestors were interned.
100% of them will choose California over Auschwitz, but that won’t change your mind one bit, now will it?

Hmmm, the Axis was hell bent to exterminate all Jews. We took in around 120,000 people and denied them basic human rights. Except for murdering the occupants of our camps our treatment of the detainees was quite similar to the way the axis powers dealt with their detainees. How hard is that to understand? Our detainees went hungry. Our detainees were denied medical care. Our detainees suffered in freezing temperatures. But you say that the Jews had it worse. Yes, I would agree with that. The Axis was trying to exterminate every Jew on the face of the earth. When you don’t care if your detainees either live or die then the treatment descends into neglect to the point of death.
