ACtually no. It came from a MUD I used to play. I used the name of Tamex (from dragonlance) and Mithril.

Here’s the kicker: I played a minotaur.

Interesting. I came across an article about Mithraism around 1994 and I’ve been mildly obsessed ever since. It got me interested in mystery religions, the Roman Empire, and all sorts of things. One of the coolest things I ever got to do was stand in an excavated Mithraeum in London.
