I would probably have voted for Teddy. Not a Bryan fan.

Teddy and Bryan never ran against each other. Teddy’s 1904 candidate was Alton Parker, a little known circuit judge and conservative Democrat. I’m not huge on Bryan either. Appreciate his economic contributions but the hostility to evolution, defense of the KKK at the 1924 convention(my username’s namesake Al Smith was an opponent of the KKK though my user name is more in tribute to Humphrey), and the all around fanaticism plus messiah delusions are why I’m not a big Bryan fan either.
