Saw your question earlier about Hewitt and how dumb he is…

For the record, I didn’t actually take Hewitt’s class, I took John Eastman’s class (Eastman is incredibly smart but also very wrong on a lot of social issues). Hewitt’s class was often referred to as “show prep” by my classmates who took it.

And as I’ve always said about Hewitt, he’s not dumb but he is a bit of a hack. Specifically, he’s one of those people who see politics as a game, and he roots for Team Republican, so he will forgive/explain away any mistake they make. He will also change his tune when the party goes a different direction. In 2008 he was Team Romney until McCain won, and then McCain was always his guy.

He’s also a fan of the Browns, so he’s spent his entire life talking himself into a questionable decision being a good idea.

Hey…hey…hey…I’m a Brown’s fan and that comment is out of line.

They have not always been bad. So you are wrong there.

And, how many cities have had their sports team ripped away from them and moved to another city. And, the new ownership went to a previous partner that died two seasons in to a new franchise, then was taken over by a son that did not like football.

Yeah they’ve sucked…but loyalty is not a sin. And watch a Browns game sometime. They still pack the stadium at the start of every home game with passionate fans. Not wagon riders and front runners like so many fake ass fans.

I’ve stuck with the Democrats my whole life too. Thick or thin.
