A Manhatten is ALWAYS made with rye whiskey. Otherwise, it’s a Bourbon drink.

And don’t get me me started on “Martinis”. A Martini is made of gin, dry vermouth, and olives on a stick. If you replace the olives with pickled onions, it’s a Gibson.

A vodka Martini isn’t a Martini. It’s a vodka cocktail.

An Appletini isn’t. A Melontini isn’t. Anything other than gin, dry vermouth, and olives on a stick isn’t a Martini.

And get the fuck off of my lawn.
