Massive defecit spending, quelle horreur.
No big deal, everybody is going to be doing it, so no worries.
Oh, I know - but in Czech political culture, deficit spending is a big no-no. Granted, sometimes it can’t be helped, like this time for example, but generally, Czech governments do their best to avoid it wherever possible. Hell, this is a country where people literally save up the money to purchase a new car….so they won’t have to take out a loan.
Debt is viewed as shameful, something akin to a moral failing.
