Q-Anon is basically the Grand Unified Theory of Anti-Semitism and UN/Illuminati Conspiracy theories.

The closest thing to the Satanic Panic right now is either… the “Fentanyl Crisis” or “Antifa” as an actual organization.

Both are horseshit. Both are generally believed by scared old white people and cops, and often are just glossed over by journalists as if it’s true without questioning.

Same shit with satanic cults being “responsible” for various crime in the 80s.

In the radio broadcast, one of the people interviewed is a journalist. He notes that the story was catnip, and he bit hard at the time.

Fentanyl being sold illegally is a problem, but again, catnip for lazy reporters.

UN conspiracy theories of course only came into existence after the UN did. We can thank folks like the John Birch Society for that.

In the USA, Satanic Panics go back to the Salem Witch Trials (no anti-Semitism or Illuminati then).
