re: #45 TarHellion

Fivethirtyeight, for what it is worth, still reflects a dead heat. Ryan seems to have been doing the right things, but Ohio is just a tougher get now.

Surprised that Beasley is close here in NC, though all the ads I see are from Budd. And he still hasn’t pulled the race card, yet.

Pull off a win in WI, OH, or NC - and the makeup of the 2023 Senate looks a lot better.

I just want Dems to run ads saying, “Republicans want to mandate your health care, or face prison.”

From my anecdotal viewing of campaign signs, ads, etc. in the area Oz is not even popular among the rabid GOP sort. However, he’ll get their votes since they are going to pull the lever for the (R) candidate in any case.

The only political ads I’m seeing are the ones that YouTube is forcing me to watch. They are the pretty standard drivel and usually being done by the various PACs. What I noticed a few elections back is that the various candidates generally don’t identify their party anymore. Even in the mailers that are starting to turn up. You have to go out and spend a bit of internet time to see what the affiliation of the various candidates are.*

* - Since the GOP has decided that party loyalty is their greatest priority I’ve vowed to never vote for one again.
