I just find it interesting that an otherwise credible website is championing the cause of Trig’s ‘true’ paternity. I mean when you spend some time on Palingates, you see a lot of seemingly good information on Palin, Miller, AIP, the Alaskan Militias, and even the Koch brothers. Yet there is this ‘babygate’ story that sullies their reputation… yet also seems to be the reason the website was created to begin with. It begs some questions… Is Palingates credible? Can you cite a site that has 99% good info, with 1% conspiratorial crap? I had that issue with this site (admittedly to a much much lesser degree) as I never, and still don’t, support the war in Iraq, and I tend to be pretty critical of Israel’s policies- while this site tends to support the war, and to cheerlead a bit for Israel. Those opinions, though not fringe, are antithetical to what I believe, yet I have referred people to visit LGF on many occasions for good opinion and consolidated information… But Should I, or anyone else concerned with accuracy and moderation, refer anyone to Palingates? This is a quandary for me. If it was just an ‘intellectual argument’ they banter around over there, that would be one thing, but it is a constant crusade by their members to ‘free trig.’ It’s a bit much. It’s embarrassing… and given all the scandals and gaffes that Palin has under her belt, it seems unnecessary to pursue. I don’t know, any thoughts (if this thread is still active)…?
