I think they are. You saw even the Cuban American community favoring Obama over Romney. Another potential bloc that the GOP has alienated big time are Asians. I was not aware of this but in 1992 apparently George H.W Bush got 2/3’s of the Asian vote. By 2012 Obama had gotten roughly this same percentage with Asians and what’s more is much like Cuban-Americans, he won over Vietnamese-Americans, a group well known for being more conservative. The GOP and right have only themselves to blame to how they’re perceived in minority communities. Maybe shut up with the condescending bullshit about minority voters and free stuff, shut up about how immigrants are all violent thugs, and maybe just maybe treat them like human beings.
