Right, that makes me all the more glad that my boss has hired immigrants including immigrant women for clerkships at our firm.
Judicial clerkships are a bit different. Usually, you interview in your third year of law school and if you get them you wait a year to take the bar. Like moot court, law review, and mock trial, it’s one of those things you sort of need to tick off on your resume if you want to one day be a judge.
