I might have been more calm had this been the first time.
She’d already had this discussion here, the discussion included two transwomen even, but apparently this didn’t help at all.

So yes, when she began to spout about how it’s all just “imaginings” and how taking your kid’s nature into account is “child abuse”, and after re-reading Leelah’s story, I wrote what I thought. It goes far beyond a mere “different opinion”.

And you continue to miss the point.

Some people are not going to change. It’s been like that through the history of man.

This is a discussion board. She shared her opinion. You don’t like it, fine. But to say fuck you to her doesn’t make you some shining light for gender issues.

It makes you a bully. Once you utter something like that…all reasonableness goes right out the door. It does nothing to change anyone’s view. Good job.
