Just my quick take on what little I’ve read of those tweets. I think it could be that she is saying that it doesn’t occur to her that she needs to learn English, despite a big US fan base, because she doesn’t need English as a ticket-punch towards success. The US doesn’t carry the weight it used to. Left unsaid - all the new global elites need Chinese, French, or German instead.
