I’d be more confident in Chrysler’s success if it had filed for bankruptcy than with this move.

Not a weird feeling at all. The CEO basically said that when Ford released their 1st Q earnings (er, I mean loss).

Think, too, what will happen in 2010 and beyond. Chrysler will be owned by the UAW. GM will be owned by Team Obama. If you are a lean and mean auto exec, would you want to work for them?

I’ll put odds that Ford will be cleaning their clocks.
