I’m sure that the meeting will cover all the usual spots - Obama will press Bibi on settlements, Bibi will demand Obama pressure Abbas and the PA to make additional security guarantees and assure that the PA wont declare independence outside of the Oslo process (aka negotiating directly between Israel and the PA).

But most of all, the real deals will be outside public view. Obama will likely reiterate that the US position hasn’t changed despite how the media and pundits are portraying it. In fact, I expect Obama to note that he demanded that the Palestinians give up on trying to supplant Israel and that they can only get to statehood if they accept Israel’s inalienable right to exist. That’s a big thing (well, it’s a restatement of Oslo, but it’s the strongest statement in years on point).

In many respects this is kabuki theater - with the sides playing to type.
