Another thing I fear is the aftermath of another large natural and/or man-made disaster, especially a terrorist attack. If the government moves in to restore order and declares marial law, these fellows will see it as a declaration of war on True Patriots and start shooting back.

It could get very, very ugly.

Heckling the father of a dead child betrays the level of tribalism that, previously, I’d only seen in the middle east and Africa.

The things that saves us from them treating the American army under a Democrat president as a foreign invasion, and attacking it (the way for instance, any Muslim country would react to a non-Muslim army) is:
1) Our ARMY isn’t hated, by these people
2) they have their own children in the Army
3) they don’t have powerful militias of their own (yet)
