Former Lubbock County Democratic Party chair Todd Klein continues his free-fall self-abasement:

Some history here. Todd left the Democratic Party in the early 2000s but continued to espouse many “liberal” positions like racial tolerance and some kind of concern for the homeless. He was the leading advocate for putting the Tim Cole memorial on public land, for example. Then a couple of years ago, he lost the mayor’s election in an upset. His opponent, a copier salesman, succeeded in positioning himself as “the conservative candidate,” which is pretty well a guaranteed win in Lubbock. I think Todd has decided that he won’t be out-rednecked again, hence his slavish support for Cheeto Benito. Todd is not yet 50. I think his career will drown in a sea of blue before it is over.
