As a person who writes really good kinky fiction, the fact that Fifty Shades became a huge hit is enough to sometimes make me doubt whether I should continue writing.

It’s just Twilight fan fiction with the names changed. And I’m being serious. That’s really how the series got started.

I have a friend on LiveJournal that has been gleefully ripping those books apart chapter by chapter showing how bad they are. I’ll have to find the archive link where she and another writer are posting. It’s a hoot.
