He approves of Pence, the Manafort nominee for VP. He waited until now to make a published objection to Trump. I wouldn’t place any credence in his statements on anything, though I suppose some GOP Senators might begin thinking that if Trump has even lost a hack like Verret, it’s time to reconsider their position. Pence gets them all the bad legislation and judges without the embarrassing rants.

For my money, any Republican calling for impeachment is a plus, regardless of their record. If it makes moderates and fence-sitters stop and wonder what’s going on for a minute, all good AFAIC.
