Trump picks his lawyers based on their appearance and looks and their tv appearances. That’s why he surrounded himself with the likes of Rudy, Powell, and all the rest.

He had some NJ real estate lawyer representing him - Alina Habba. He’s picking based not on their skills or competencies, but because they’re saying stuff that Trump wants to hear - not what he needs to hear.

And his know nothing base buys all of this crap.

The warrants for the search were airtight - they’d have to be based on who the target was. All of the responses to this search warrant show that the GOP intends to politicize the hell out of the DOJ and FBI, even more than they did under Trump.

Let’s not forget that the persecution of Clinton was payback for Watergate. A Republican president was driven from office because of his criminal misdeeds harming our democracy; in retribution the same fate should apply to a Democrat for whatever they could manufacture (Vince Foster, Whitewater, etc, until they found Monica).
