True. Like I said, it was like rent control: Acceptable during the war, but bad once the war ended. Both Chicago and New York had rent control during WWII, but Chicago did not keep it after the war, so Chicago does not have New York's housing problems.

But NYC does not have Chicago's community organizer problem ... hmmm
