re: #291 Slumbering Behemoth

Only poseurs and posturing fools openly discuss such possessions. The dumbest and loosest of lips. Not even my closest, must trusted friends are privy to the kinds ordinance I posses.

Which, for the record, is none at all.

I beg to differ. Your statement is probably valid for would-be revolutionaries and secession fantasists who are stashing guns and ammo for their perpetually planned uprising, but law-abiding and sane gun-owners are not crazy or fraudulent when they, too, openly discuss their guns.
I have done so here many times, and others have joined in. My guns are tools and significant artifacts of human experience in their own right. My Martini-Henry rifle, for example, was made in Birmingham England in 1884 and was the property of the Indian Army for generations. It works perfectly to this day.
If it could only speak.

One difference between me and the fantasy revolutionaries is probably that I have professional training in using firearms and some degree of real world experience. I am apparently proficient enough with them, since I am still here.

My idiot cousin joined the Marines btw and survived 4 years of service but I am not sure this is to the Corps’ credit.
