German law prohibits “comparative advertising”, i.e., you cannot claim you are better than anyone else.

Audi even got slapped with a lawsuit over an ad potraying a golfer with the caption “Audi: better than golf”. (The VW Rabbit is known in Germany as the VW Golf).

VW sued and won.
