There is a stretch of PA surrounding Erie that does border Canada (across the Lake). Border Patrol will frequently operate well behind the US border at places it believes are congregating points for illegals entering the US (which I’ve seen particularly in AZ and CA, but not so much in NYS or PA).

And my PA fishing license is still good on the Canadian side of Lake Erie. So we are friendly in that respect.
