We mostly do anyway.

It’s just that we hate ourselves and each other for doing it.

We become neurotic and wracked with internal conflict that comes out as aggression. Hating what it means to be human is not the source of virtue that people think it is.

And so if person A’s animal instinct says “mate” and person B doesn’t want it…?
