You’ll find that a stand mixer will make all of your baking vastly better. I got the Mrs. a Kitchen Aid a few years back, and she had an older mixer that didn’t work too well or a hand mixer, and never could get the creaming just right.
Now, it’s spot on every time, and that improves the texture of the cakes and cookies.
The same goes for whipping egg whites.
