Why work to create bullshit reasons for the execution of the Jewish population when you could have simply labeled it a matter of “national security”? It’s not as though we’d have any room to talk with our own internment camps for Japanese-Americans.

Yep. Great point. I can just see Goebells salivating at the thought of Jewish civilians firing on the Nazis and despite what a lot of people believe, the Nazis did especially in Eastern Europe try to present themselves as the good guys and hell I hate to say it could have succeeded if they weren’t bigots against Eastern Europeans.
