How the hell can you plan something like that? And that means to me that I don’t think mental illness was a factor. This strikes me as a cold, calculated plan. Having some mental issues myself, mental issues are more characterized by impulsiveness. I ought to know. I’m the most impulsive person I know.

You plan something like this if you are evil and high-functioning. Since neither of these points is dispositive either way on possible mental issues, I really wish random chatter (especially on the MSM) would stop this useless speculation about insanity etc.
