First time I learned about what Waldo is was while playing Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail. It was actually named differently there (as you might guess), but by looking it up I learned about Waldo.

I was more of a King’s Quest fan than a Leisure Suit Larry fan, but Sierra was my second favorite computer game company. I think Infocom will always have that particular place of honor.
