Does anybody have any idea what Harry Shearer’s fucking deal is lately? It’s just weird how his apparently incessant hard on for bashing Nixon always seems to come up in the context of minimizing Trump’s latest assault on basic decency. What he’s directly referring to here of course is Spiro Agnew’s “Nattering nabob’s of negativism,” which in no goddamned way is equivalent to Trump straight up publicly calling the press the “enemy of the American people.”

I mean, is this just pathological pedantry or is it what I suspect, just another white male uber lefty who seems to inexplicably be making it his head-ass mission in life to run interference for Trump while he engages in rank ethnic cleansing?
