My parents’ cats aren’t allowed in the house, so the rodent corpses are usually deposited at the entryway to the garage or in the basement window wells. One cat is quite good at doing the hunting, the other … yeeeeah, not so much. So he supervises. I don’t remember if you guys have seen them, but my parents’ cats are enormous felines, positively yuuuuge. Beautiful animals, but for barn cats, I’ve never seen them grow so big.

My cats aren’t allowed outside because there are too many varieties of wildlife that see them as a potential meal. They’ll be four years old end of April/beginning of May and the only only time they’ve been outdoors is when they were born out in the shop. Their eyes were still closed when their stray cat mother disappeared, so the only thing they know of the outdoors is what they see through the windows.
