The helicopters aren’t 75+ years old. I fully expect the FAA to come down hard on the WWII era aircraft other than the DC-3 (because they have a special airworthness certificate.

It’s just like with the duck boats; these WWII combat aircraft were never intended to carry civilians and definitely not with airframes that were built as fast as they could be churned out under wartime conditions and are pushing 75 years old or more.

I love old planes and it’s cool to see them fly, but it’s time to put most, if not all of them, in static displays.
