So if they arm teachers, and there’s an active shooter incident, the cops will be shooting teachers. That’s a step up from cuffing parents.

Yup, that’s what happens when you have random guys running around with guns at the scene of an active shooter. Particularly when they are taking pot shots at other people who are shooting back.

I believe that about 15 years ago in a Richmond suburb, an off duty Sheriff’s Deputy tried to respond to an active shooter and got shot and killed.

The usual response tends towards:
“Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius.”
