Well, over on Lew Rockwell’s site they’ve dismissed it as retelling Soviet propaganda.

For once Rockwell’s not wrong. Stone’s handling of Truman’s decision to drop the atomic bomb was particularly bad, simply spouting the Soviet claim that Truman dropped the bomb to bully the USSR, without giving even a glance to the mountain of evidence to the contrary.
