Between the over-the-top rules and restrictions and the increasingly popular phenomenon of helicopter parenting, I pity the upcoming generations. My wife tells me she’s already been asked by well-meaning “others” why she doesn’t helicopter more. Err, I don’t know, perhaps because we’re raising him the same way WE were raised? I note with some satisfaction that neither of us has died yet…
